Melissa Bechtold

Melissa is very pleased to be coaching with the Eagan Wildcats. She’s been coaching ever since she graduated from Hopkins High School, where she played fastpitch, volleyball, and basketball. In fastpitch, she played multiple positions (primarily pitcher), was a two year captain, received MVP, MIP (Most Improved Player), All-Conference, All-Metro, and All-State awards, and played in the Minnesota All-Star Games her senior year.

She’s coached in many different programs in Minnesota and California (where she also played in a women’s fastpitch league), in many different capacities, gaining as much information as she can about all aspects of the game.

Melissa’s extremely grateful to all of the coaches who’ve taught her valuable life lessons through athletics and to those who’ve created and/or continue to create opportunities for athletes.
