Roman Foore

Varsity Assistant Coach Roman Foore enters his fourth year as a member of the Eagan High School Softball program.

Foore has previously coached a Burnsville Fall team for three years, leading them to two State Championships and one Third Place finish, all at the Tier I level.

A graduate of Rosemount High School, Foore then attended Normandale Community College in Bloomington, where we played baseball for two years. He then received a scholarship to Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas. For two years, he played baseball for the Bulldogs.

After completing his eligibility and while fulfilling his degree requirements for a BS in Kinesiology, he served as an Assistant Coach on the Bulldogs Softball team.

A standout fastpitch player himself, Foore has participated in 9 National and World Tournaments since 2001, being named All World twice.

In August of 2005, he was named MVP of the ASA Class B State Tournament, as he helped lead his team to the State Championship.

This past August, Foore was named Second Team All American at the ASA Major National Championship.

Foore currently resides in Apple Valley and is employed by Ikon Office Solutions. His family includes his parents Rich, a renowned and respected Pitching Instructor, and Ramona.
