Meet Head Coach

Courtney Dully

In 1990, I attended Eagan High School as part of the initial Sophomore Class and graduated three years thereafter. During that time I had the opportunity not only to participate in the Volleyball & Basketball programs but also my priority sport of Softball. The positive experiences in the classroom; extra-curriculum activities and the athletic arena formed a foundation for the person I am today. Being a member of the Softball team and sharing the rewards of multiple Conference, Regional & State titles were just the frosting on the cake.

Because of the widespread support of my family, various teachers/coaches & the community, I was blessed with a Division I scholarship at Iowa State University. This opportunity allowed me to continue in a sport that I love, along with securing a formal education (Bachelor of Science: Emotional/Behavioral Disorder & Early Childhood) that opened doors to a field I also truly love – that being working with children that are not as fortunate as I have been.

While participating on the Eagan High School & Iowa State Women’s Softball teams, I was fortunate enough to establish multiple Individual and Career Records that still stand today. I do place the inductions into the Eagan High School & Minnesota Coaches Hall of Fame as the major achievements in my athletic endeavors. Though I still remain proud of those accomplishments, it was the comradery with fellow teammates and competitors that bring back the most favorable memories.

After graduating from Iowa State in 1998, I was given the opportunity to return to the Wildcas and coach with Sandy Hillyer as her assistant. Her mentoring role helped establish my confidence to follow in her path and seek out the Head Coaching Position for the Eagan High Wildcat softball program.

My goal is to continue to provide the Eagan Wildcat softball program with the necessary tools to extend it’s winning tradition. This vision will occur through dedication, desire, and teamwork. By becoming the Head Coach, my added focus is to provide each and every player the opportunity to learn and enjoy the sport. This objective will be the shared value amongst the coaching staff, players, parents, and the community.

I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to continue coaching and maintain the Wildcats’ established excellence as the Eagan High School Head Varsity Softball Coach.
