Sarah Schmidt

Junior Varsity Head Coach Sarah Schmidt enters her fifth season as a member of the Eagan High School Softball Staff. She coached the Wildcat Junior Varsity and Freshmen teams in 2000 and 2001, respectively. Schmidt is also a third year coach of the Wildcats Girls’ Basketball team, coaching at the Freshmen level.

Schmidt is a third year Physical Education and Health teacher at Eagan High School She teaches courses in Aerobics, Self Defense and 9^th Grade Physical Education.

The past three seasons, Schmidt spent coaching at Eastview High School in Apple Valley, coaching the Lightning Freshmen Softball team.

A 1997 graduate of Eagan High School, Schmidt then attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, playing softball for two years. Schmidt received her BA in Health and Physical Education from St. Thomas.

Schmidt resides in Eagan and is the middle of three daughters (sisters are Chris and Molly) for her parents Tom and Margaret.
